I'm trying to push my overclock and I'm using an i5 4690k. Up until now I've managed to reach 4.3 GHz by adjusting the reference clock speed to 110. Once it hits 4.4 GHz the system crashes. I'm curious if there are other adjustments I should make to allow further improvements. I don't have a specific target yet, just want to explore how high I can go.

Reconfigure everything as if it were originally, adjust the multipliers to 44, set the voltage to 1.21. Execute OCCT for a stress test and monitor temperatures.

Put everything back as if it was originally, adjust the multiplies to 44, change the voltage to 1.21, and set the reference clock to 100 (default). This should result in a frequency of 4.400 GHz. When I tried it, the crash happened immediately after applying.
