I am new to overclocking but want to enhance my i5 performance. My current motherboard is a H97, and I’m unsure if it supports overclocking. I’m looking for recommendations on the best board for decent overclocking, especially as a beginner. Also, could you confirm if the Master Hyper 212 cooler will keep up with the increased temperatures during overclocking? Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

In theory you shouldn't have to reinstall Windows, but drivers are important. The Hyper 212 works well for custom builds, and I'm using it on my 4670K which operates at 4.3GHz with around 55°C during a stress test.
