Hey there! I'm just getting started with the PC world and heard a lot about overclocking. I built my system yesterday, so could someone explain:

1. What does it do?
2. Should I try it or is it better to leave it alone?

Here are the details of my setup:
- GPU: ASUS STRIX GTX 1060 OC6GB
- CPU: Intel i5 7600K unlocked
- RAM: 16GB
- Motherboard: Asus STRIX B250
- Power: Thermal take 600W
- CPU fan: Probably a thermal take LED fan

Thanks!

B250 lacks the ability to overclock. You should consider Z-series components. The power supply isn't suitable. Overclocking aims to increase CPU performance beyond its original speed, which can be inefficient when purchasing a B250 model with an I5-7600k processor.
