Hello everyone,
Can I overclock my GTX 1070 using an i5 4460 Haswell processor without water cooling? I plan to use MSI Afterburner. Is this approach secure?

Yes - Using MSI Afterburner for overclocking is quite secure.
However, I don't have a K in my processor. Wouldn't that be dangerous?

No, the GPU overclocking isn't limited to K-series CPUs.
