hello guys! i need assistance with overclocking my msi gtx 950. i’m completely new to this process. i have the msi afterburner installed, and my pc comes with an fx 6300 cpu and g skills ripjaws 8 gb ram. the motherboard is gigabyte78lmt-s2pt. can someone help me out?

there are aspects connected to the pci express port that can be adjusted in the bios settings, but they often cause the gpu to overclock using windows software. you need to install the nvidia app, then create profiles and adjust them with your gpu or apply the existing ones.

i used GPU Tool to calibrate, pairing it with msi after burner or any program you use—just adjust the GPU settings.
i ran a TEST FOR STABILITY, checking every 20 seconds or so; if no artifacts or errors appear, save the current state and try again.
it’s helpful to note values and perform benchmarks to track improvements and understand the changes in your score. i prefer using 3DMARK06 for these checks.
