Overclocking between 4.1 and 4.3 GHz works well on the Ryzen 5 3600. The ASUS Ai Tuning overclocker increased the frequency in steps of 25 MHz, reaching 43.25 GHz before it crashed. Now it stabilizes around 4.1–4.2 GHz base with a boost to 4.3 GHz under load. In BIOS the multiplier reads 43.25, matching the observed performance at higher loads. With a 650 Ti Boost chip, it seems the device isn’t reaching its full potential yet. I’m planning to upgrade to a 3060/3060 Ti and see how it performs.

I suggest using the "AMD Ryzen Master" tool for testing and consider that the 650ti might temporarily limit your CPU in certain situations. Be aware that exceeding 4.2 may void your warranty.

It doesn't support B350. It voids your warranty. I got this.

I don't understand exactly what you're asking. A 3600 won't fit on a B350 and overclocking relies on various components like mobos, VRMs, coolers, RAM, and power supply.

The 3600 is providing power to the B350. It's functioning properly now. This notification was generated on a 3600 for a B350. The fix requires a first-generation Ryzen processor and a BIOS upgrade. My machine uses an Asus ROG Strix B350-F, originally designed for first-gen Ryzen; my 1600X suffered damage from cold thermal paste and a faulty CPU tower cooler.

Yeah, you're correct. The graph isn't current. Your Mobo has strong VRMs, but it's not built for the ZEN 2 architecture. My 3600 could reach 4.35 on my X570—I'd be cautious with overclocks, but if 4.3GHz holds up in stress tests, go ahead. It might shorten your CPU's lifespan though.

Yes, Asus offers some level of compatibility with their B350 motherboard. But you'll be missing out on PCIe Gen 4 support, which your processor and GPU require.

I intend to upgrade to a more powerful GPU for improved performance.
