I just set up the system and the task manager reported a frequency of 2133 MHz. I checked the BIOS, turned on X.M.P., but when booting I still see an "Overclock failed" error. I attempted to adjust the timings manually—voltage and frequency—but the issue persisted. I followed the instructions in that guide and used these specifications: Density: 16GB (2x8GB), Speed: 3200MHz, Tested Latency: 16-18-18-36, Voltage: 1.35V. The hardware includes an i7 6700k (stock), Z170a Krait Gaming, Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4 3200MHz, GTX 980 (stock), and a 256G Samsung 850 Evo with 1 Tb Western Digital Blue.

try the flowing settings and see if they work
adjust the speed to
Speed: 3000MHz
keep these values consistent
tested latency range: 16-18-18-36
voltage: 1.35V
also check if your cpu is running default speeds; if not, restore it to default and then apply the xmp profile.
