There could be a noticeable FPS variation between the stock i5 4670 and an overclocked i5 4670 k when running Battlefield 4 multiplayer with 64 players. Many believe Battlefield 4 is demanding on the CPU, so performance differences might be significant.

It might be a minor variation, but it doesn’t seem like it will noticeably affect performance. Also, it’s likely the 1GHz 4670K exceeds basic needs.

Even though Battlefield 4 demands a lot from the CPU, you'll hardly feel the impact when using a machine with four or more cores.

Concerns about BF4's CPU demand have grown after six months of optimization. It uses significantly less power than BF3—64p Ultra 1080p at 75fps would only need 60% of my CPU. In contrast, BF4 now requires just 40%. The frequent updates also boost usage by about 7%.
