Just pushed my CPU (Ryzen 3 3200g) to 4Ghz.
Now the idle temperature is typically around 35-43°C.
I also increased the fan speeds just in case.
Are these temperatures normal? I’ve heard others managed it.
Keep in mind, I have a tight case and poor airflow.
I’m not concerned about the APU, and I’m not using it.

Hey there,
What matters most isn't just the idle temperatures. It's about the temperature during gaming or high-load situations. If your readings exceed 80°C during tests (like Try Cinebench R23), you might want to consider reducing the clockspeed to bring things down a bit.

The low temperatures are acceptable. What matters most is the load temperatures.

I also detected an unusual odor, unsure whether it originated from the PC.

it boosts to 50C during Minecraft sessions, reaching about 56C in GTA V (optimal configurations)

50C is clearly not a problem; you're actually operating quite well. The temperature shouldn't become an issue until it reaches the upper 80C range. I wouldn't be concerned, particularly if you haven't adjusted the CPU voltages excessively.
