Overclocking, bottlenecks, and a need for improved CPU fans are related concerns about CPU performance.
I recently purchased AC Origins and expected good performance, but noticed my FPS remains low even at high settings, around 20-30 FPS in cities. I read online that a bottleneck might be the issue. After testing, I found my CPU was working at 90-100% while the GPU was only at about 50%. I considered overclocking to improve GPU performance. During the Prime95 test, my CPU reached a max temperature of 58°C. Will this increase significantly with overclocking? Should I think about getting a better CPU fan? Is it even necessary to overclock? Is the bottleneck the main problem?

Biglizard says they need system specifications. The CPU is AMD Fx 8320 Eight Core, RAM is 8GB, GPU is AMD Radeon R9 380, PSU is Corsair CX 600 Watts. From Steam reviews, it seems this game requires updates; many top-end systems are dropping frames in cities. It appears to be another poorly optimized title from Ubisoft.
