Overclocking apu and ram
I have an AMD A8 7600 and I want to overclock it. How do I check if it's stable? Will the APU lifespan decrease?
Specs: AMD A8 7600
RAM 4 GB DDR3 1600 MHz (will add another stick later)
Motherboard A68HM P33 V2
I’d like to overclock the RAM as well, not too much.
you want to upgrade the RAM because standard overclocking won’t significantly boost performance. you’ll need an unlocked processor, such as a 7600(x), and a motherboard that supports it—like a Z170 model. without these components, you won’t be able to perform an OC on either the CPU or the RAM.
I believed upgrading the RAM would improve performance since APU performs optimally with fast memory.
