It's usually optimal to match its rated frequency, but a slight boost in voltage might allow reaching 2400MHz.

Test with a 4.8Ghz at 1.35 volts to observe the temperatures during a stress test. How much RAM capacity do you think you can extend? I purchased 8GB DDR4 RAM, default clocked at 2133Mhz (2 sticks):
