The situation is confusing, but it seems the rules for dual rank aren't being applied correctly. Most people are currently in single rank, so the 2x16 doesn’t qualify for any special benefits. Your phrasing might have been misunderstood.

I regularly do 4x8 intervals. It's been really enjoyable since I began training AM4. My current pace is around 3800 meters per hour. While a 4x8 kit seems compatible, I've found that using two different B-Die kits with matching speeds and times works just fine. However, when run solo, my Royals really challenge my Black and White sets.

Last night I got the exact model, but instead of 3200MHz it came with 3600MHz and a pack of four. It should arrive on Tuesday, so perhaps the problem is about how they’re split rather than compatibility issues.
It's always a good idea! I initially purchased my Royals, then watched the GN video and decided to go with a more affordable model. I thought I'd pass them on once my son had his system ready and grab another set of Royals, but they actually work well together. When I want to test things out, I use the black and white versions so the Royals can take the lead. Good luck, man—hope everything goes smoothly!
