Overclocking a RAM module.
Overclocking a RAM module.
Try setting up your Kingston 2x16GB 3600MHz C18 kit gradually. Check stability regularly to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Overclocking RAM isn't straightforward. Simply configure the speed to 3600mhz in BIOS, keep timings auto, and test for stability. If issues arise, refer to the guide at the provided link.
Achieving the tightest performance might push the Hynix A-Die to CL19 at 4000MHz when the same die appears in the Kingston Fury Renegade, which uses SK Hynix 19-23-23. OCCT linpack is recommended for testing. Run Cinebench looping with Prime95 and enjoy your preferred triple A games.
Some people think R15 is better for memory testing since it lacks AVX instructions, though I'm not sure. Also, Prime95 seems to rely on memory features only because my CPU is running at 99% last time I checked.
Wrong. If your CPU hits those temperatures with AVX, either consider using a AVX offset or reduce your overclock. AVX is now used everywhere, there is absolutely no reason for anyone to ignore it when CPU overclocking.
