Hello, during my attic cleaning, I discovered an old compaq CQ3080D with impressive specifications for its era. It features an E7400 2.8Ghz processor, 4gbs of 800MHz RAM, a 320GB HDD, and an Asus 9800GT 1GB drive. I installed Windows 7 and some games to test. I’ve been experiencing solid FPS on League of Legends, Dota 2, and Heroes of the Storm (50-60fps at high settings). However, I’m curious about overclocking the CPU. I tried accessing the BIOS but didn’t find any option for that. Is this a factory setting or am I doing something incorrect? Thanks.

Many original equipment manufacturers (HP, Dell...) have their products locked in the factory.

popatim :
Most OEM's (HP, Dell's...) are factory locked.
Hello, is there a way to bypass that without having to change any hardware?
