I own a Sparkle Nvidia GT 610 2gb system.
It runs on an old desktop with an Intel i5 2400 3.1Ghz, Zotac Nvidia GeForce GT 610 2GB Synergy Edition, and a Kingston 4gb 1066Mhz CPU.
I’m not sure if damaging the card would ruin it, but the system should still work without a dedicated GPU.
Are there any integrated graphics options for this CPU? Also, do you have advice on how to overclock the GPU?

The 610 GT is a business-class GPU with limited benefits from overclocking. Its integrated graphics are also quite weak compared to current standards, making overclocking unnecessary. If your main goal is gaming, it's better to opt for a more recent GPU.

You can achieve this, possibly increasing performance by another two frames per second.

You can definitely improve performance, maybe by two frames per second. I usually hit about three in Fallout 4, so that's a 40% boost.
