Determine the optimal duration for running AIDA64 to test an overclock. Should I focus on a stress test or just monitor the CPU? Currently, it's at 4.5 with 1.185 volts and 61c load.

It's mainly a matter of personal preference. I typically do 30-minute runs until the OC reaches a certain level, then switch to 1 to 2-hour sessions based on clock settings. Once comfortable, I push the system for extended periods—ranging from 8 to 24 hours. This depends heavily on your workload. Most gamers consider 8 hours sufficient, but professionals should aim for at least 24 hours. The CAD machine I recently built operated continuously for 48 hours before being delivered.

It's mainly about personal preference. I typically do 30-minute sessions until the OC feels elevated, then switch to 1 to 2-hour runs depending on clock settings. Once comfortable, I push the system hard for as long as possible (8 to 24 hours), depending on workload. Most gamers consider 8 hours sufficient, but professionals should aim for at least 24 hours. The CAD machine I built ran continuously for 48 hours before being released. Should the test focus only on CPU stress or also include other components?
