Hey guys, just checked my I5 6600k at 4.5ghz with 1.3v. I need to keep the temperature low under that setting. Also, is 1.3v safe for regular use? I've had issues with 4.6ghz too—it doesn't work well and I don't want to crank it higher.

It's challenging to determine precise safe voltages and temperatures for an overclocked CPU. Most people believe that for 14nm chips, the ideal range is around 80-85°C with a voltage of 1.4v, though lower voltage tends to correlate with higher safety temperatures, and vice versa. There isn't much data available since CPU failures are rare and unpredictable.
