Hello,
I'm facing difficulties with my CPU overclocking. The BIOS resets to the default when I attempt manual overclocking, but using Asus' OC Tuner keeps the settings intact except for a minor boost. It also preserves other configurations like voltage settings, yet the clock speed remains stuck at 3.50 hz.
Here are my details:
Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-3970X @ 3.50GHz (12 CPUs),
Memory: 16384MB RAM,
Available OS Memory: 16328MB RAM,
Powersupply: 1,200 Watts - Corsair AX1200i,
Motherboard: Asus P9X79 LE,
Cooler: Cooler Master Seidon 120M Liquid Cooling System 120MM Radiator.
Thank you for your assistance.

Have you verified your CMOS battery? Occasionally, this can lead to forgotten BIOS configurations when you shut down your device. If you're adjusting speeds, you might have considered this already...
