Overclock phenom ii x4 945 deneb
Hello, many have asked this before, but I'm seeking a solution for my hardware. I'm just starting with overclocking and wondering if I can push my CPU to at least 3.5. I've auto-optimized the V6 and V8 engines. On V6 it was stable around 3.3, but on V8 it reached 3.45 and started showing weird BSOD errors. No overheating issues noticed. Thought it might be due to the auto setting. Temperatures stayed near 41°C at 3.3GHz with V6 auto OC. Any advice would be great.
DRAM and NB frequency can be overclocked to 234; adjust them accordingly to match their supported limits. It’s advisable to consult the motherboard user manual to understand all BIOS settings.
Sure, I'll try that. If I need to increase my voltage, what should be the maximum jump? Regarding the BIOS, the strange part is that it claims a 2013 update, while the latest info on the MMO page says 2010. I might not fully grasp this and will look into it.
Yes, you verified all other ratios to ensure they are simplified or properly set to the correct Voltage because the Host Frequency is at 234. This adjustment synchronizes everything using a ratio, so it's essential that all BIOS values are accurate and adequate.
I adjusted everything back to normal until I could learn more about the other settings. Like I mentioned before, new at this lol... do you have a guide that can help? I lowered it to 227 and gradually increased the voltage until it worked better. I also ran BF1 and got a memory management BSOD.
