Overclock I7 6700k BSOD
It appears Potplayer and AMD's drivers are incompatible. Removing the AMD drivers caused BSODs, but reinstalling them resolved the issue. The crashes occur when opening or closing potplayer, regardless of clock speed. Microsoft video drivers work differently. It seems my CPU isn't a diamond at 1.392 volts for 4.2ghz.
It appears that Potplayer and AMD's drivers are incompatible. After uninstalling the AMD drivers, the BSOD vanished, but when I reinstalled them, crashes occurred during opening and closing of Potplayer. The only workaround is using VLC or another video player. This issue occurs even at the default clock speed, unlike Microsoft video drivers. It seems my CPU isn't a diamond. 1.392 volt for 4.2ghz? I don't know what Intel was thinking.
That's not Intel... Many motherboards use over-voltage protection for stability at standard settings.
