Hey everyone,
I'm attempting to boost my PC's performance by increasing the CPU frequency, aiming for a few extra frames and reducing any micro stutters I've noticed in a couple of games. When I adjust the settings in BIOS from 3.6 to something like 3.7-3.9, the system powers off and on five times during startup, then restarts normally afterward. It works once it boots again, but it reverts back to 3.6. Changing the voltage hasn't made much difference either. I've also been trying to raise my 3000 g skill RAM to at least 2667 or 2992, but it only reaches up to 2132 no matter what I set in BIOS. The same issue occurs with the RAM when I try to increase its frequency.

There are two methods for overclocking. Consider Ryzen master since bios-based overclocking requires more steps.

What a cooler you have? Also, voltage. It seems like you're running low on voltage.

I resolved the CPU overclocking problem. It seems the RAM is likely the cause—it won’t exceed 2133 even after adjusting voltage. Now I can successfully overclock the CPU without issues.
