I'm working on simplifying the process for you. Switched from a 2700x/b450 MSI tomahawk to a 3900x/ASUS crosshair hero viii x570. On the 2700x I got solid performance by setting the bclk to 103 and letting boost handle it—I hit 4.47. With the new 3900x, adjusting the bclk makes the core boost inactive and it stays stuck at the base frequency like 38xx. Setting bclk back to 100 restores boost functionality. Is there anything I'm doing incorrectly or can this board not overclock with core boost?
