You might want to turn off USB controllers in the BIOS individually. Check the USB connectors closely—damaged pins inside could touch and create a short. Straightening them should resolve the problem. Occasionally, a protection diode or control circuit for 2-4 ports fails, leading the BIOS to believe excessive power is drawn from one port. Disabling those ports by disabling the corresponding USB controller in the BIOS could help.

I verified once more—every USB header pin is straight and doesn’t touch anything else. They’re also not bent.

I hope I can view the USB header from the BIOS, but sadly when I power on the PC I only encounter this error and it blocks access to the BIOS.

Ensure the board is covered under MSI support. There isn’t a permanent solution unless you can physically inspect it. The best fix might be to reflash the BIOS—using the same version could work. If flashing isn’t possible, it strengthens the case for warranty. Either way, good luck!

Examine the USB ports on the IO shield directly, not just the motherboard headers. Remove the front panel USB cables too. Restart your BIOS correctly... unplug the power supply, take out the CR2032 battery from the motherboard, wait 10 to 30 seconds, reinsert the battery and the power cable back in. As long as the power supply is connected and linked to the motherboard, it maintains a 5V standby even when off, meaning the BIOS reset isn't assured.

Checked available USD ports such as no bend. Unplugged the front panel USB cables. Reset CMOS by plugging in the power cable and leaving it on for over 30 seconds. No improvement yet!
