Over Clocking Issues
Over Clocking Issues
Hi! I recently built a gaming PC.
But since a first timer, I had a major problem.
Ryzen 3 1300x on a A320 MoBo!
But I insisted and tried to OC anyway...
But you might ask "How?"
Well theres an option in the BIOS to change the CPU Frequency...
So I tried to OC and here comes the problem...
HWInfo and TaskManager shows the same Frequency, 3.825Ghz
Ryzen Master and CPU-z are showing the same Frequency, 3.6Ghz
Ryzen Master have *rare* spikes of 3.9 Ghz
The CPU normal operating Frequency is 3.5-3.7 Ghz
Which is the one to believe??
Take the bios at face value. Remember to raise the voltage properly to prevent harming the CPU or wasting power from excessive input. Testing overclocking usually needs about 24 to 48 hours to confirm stability.
