It seems there might be a memory access issue. Are there any other demanding apps running on your system? Do they experience similar problems?

They experienced a power outage the previous day, which likely triggered the problem. It could have caused data corruption in the memory.

Running the command in admin privileges is recommended, similar to using sfc /scannow. After that, it would be best to remove all Outlook-related files and reconfigure the Outlook accounts. However, I don't think a damaged Outlook database would cause this issue.

I hope this wasn't an option, but the person trying to use it really prefers the desktop version.

Ah yes the holy trinity of MS forum commands. You will have more results sacrificing a chicken and praying to the old gods.... If your Outlook is crashing its best to see the .pst or .ost file (the file that stores your emails on your PC) if it is large. Microsoft Outlook is made to be used with Exchange/O365 and over there the max file pst size is 50GB. If you exceed the 50GB limit, Outlook shits itself... Constant crashes telling you f' all and not sending or receiving any new emails. You can check your .pst/.ost file size by going here - C:\Users\[UserName]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook There is a workaround to increase the .pst file size from the registry https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topi...806fa535f4 My personal advice is if you are not using Outlook for more advanced mail shenanigans like Mail rules, advance filters, useless flags that you will forget. Just use the web interface of your mail provider (i guarantee you will not have any problems there)
