I own three Gigabyte boards featuring DualBios, two of which are UEFI. One is a B85M-D3H and another a P61A-whatever-mobo. Both have consistently failed from the start. They would keep crashing whenever even minor problems appeared, like memory issues. The other board from a few years ago worked fine and never crashed. Hmm, why did Gigabyte design such a poor product? Shouldn’t they just stick with the traditional dual-bios setup with a switch like the K7 Aopen board from the Cold War era? That one functions perfectly. As someone from Taiwan, I’m embarrassed about Gigabyte’s choices. It’s a complete mess when it comes to motherboards and customer support. Who else is struggling to fix a sad DualBios board from Gigabyte? Please share your experiences so we can understand this pain together.

Typically folks might not have encountered the dual bios feature unless there was a physical control to activate it. When a bios failure occurred, the systems rarely changed to the backup bios on their own.
