It resembles a Vision G variant with a stronger gaming focus. It's a solid board game. You might also check out the Tomahawk; its elite tier is good too.

I'm considering the same setup as you, an i510600k with 3080. Online sources suggest the ROG STRIX Z490-E gaming is nearly as strong as the i5, though it might be future-proof thanks to PCIE 4 support for next-gen CPUs. The only drawback is it costs £100 more than other options. Worth it? That depends.
