Hangouts functions properly though it requires some time to adapt. I tried it earlier and found the setup process not very straightforward. It has been improved significantly recently.

Google Hangouts and Razer Comms stopped working for me when the sync failed. The app won’t close unless you manually open it in your processes. It’s hard to find a replacement since most people still use Skype.
