I've relied on PIA for about two to three years and am still deciding whether to renew my plan. The main concern is that PIA appears to be phasing out support for Windows 7, though the overall service remains functional. I’m familiar with the limitations of Windows 7 but plan to continue using it in the near term, so I don’t want to suggest switching to Windows 10 just yet. For those facing similar challenges, I’d appreciate hearing about other available options, such as NordVPN or others. I reached out to PIA’s support multiple times about this issue, and it seems their response has weakened since my first subscription. They’ve only provided a link to the latest supported version for Windows 7, which hasn’t worked at all.

I wouldn't advise using Nord because they haven't been recognized for strong customer support when it comes to canceling subscriptions. Consider exploring VPN options from Mozilla and ProtonMail—they come with trusted brands and generally perform well.
