I've been managing my PC setup for some time now and encountered a bit of an issue. I have a system with Windows 7, OS X 9, and Ubuntu 14.04. To decide which operating system to start with, I manually connect and disconnect the SATA cables on my drives. This process has become frustrating, so I'm curious—can you suggest a lightweight OS that runs from a USB thumb drive? It should provide a simple graphical interface for selecting the boot option. If not, could someone help me create one quickly, similar to what you made in Photoshop? Just need to rename the OSes and change the wallpaper. Thanks!

All operating systems include a boot manager. Systems based on Linux, such as Windows, also have this feature. (Apologies, I couldn't locate a more suitable triple boot menu image here.) What I described is for Windows 8, which also works with touchscreens.

Imagine using Yumi Multiboot alongside your operating system ISO files on a flash drive to give it a polished appearance. This approach would primarily benefit live installations rather than providing lasting changes.

They've mentioned various OS selectors, but they all look confusing or hard to understand.

OS selectors are available in various operating systems. However, I've encountered issues with multi-partition setups before, so I prefer avoiding that approach here.

I’m focusing on creating a switch and customizing it for your setup, controlling power or SATA cables per drive. This could help if you’re having issues with boot managers. A simple concept.
