OS crash on BIOS from OW2, drive not found—could be memory issues.
Hello, I created an account just to share what’s happening. I crashed my BIOS after a quick match, and when I exited, I ended up in a boot loop for my BIOS. For reference, my Asus ROG Strix B-550F Gaming Wifi II is working fine—my SATA SSD was recognized in EZ Mode, while the M.2 and HDD were too. After some research, I discovered a Memory OC might be the issue. I reset everything back to defaults and it worked perfectly. I tried booting Windows 11 but it ran very slow, around 10 frames per second, with the mouse still moving after I stopped. Earlier, I suspected a Memory OC problem because my build is new and it was built from an older system (switched from Intel to AMD). I hadn’t replaced RAM yet, and so far everything has been smooth. I used EZ mode to set up my RAM in my previous machine, which worked well. Now I’m starting to wonder if the drive itself is failing—a Kingston A400 240GB that I bought back in 2018 has handled many reads and writes. The blue screen appears very quickly, so I don’t see the error details, but I’m anxious about turning it on until I can check what’s going on inside. My temperatures were better than expected, and everything seemed normal before. Could anyone share their experience with this problem or point me in the right direction?
