Updating to a new version is generally recommended, as it eliminates unnecessary features that come by default.

Yep. You might try removing things by hand, but it’s probably going to take you longer, particularly with Windows 10. Using the Media Creation Tool from Microsoft gives you the newest version, which saves a lot of time—provided you have a decent USB flash drive. Just confirm your system uses an SSD; that’s unrelated to this topic but I really appreciate it. An HDD as the main drive shouldn’t be considered even on a limited budget, especially if users are spending money on emails now.
