Make sure to verify your purchase for an additional $1, just in case.

They function similarly to a Craigslist for game keys—purchase from well-reviewed sellers. I don’t rely on their special safeguards (G2A Shield and Kinguin, whatever).

Have you experienced Mafia II? I assure you, nobody here has played it, that’s the best game ever.

Black Friday is approaching, offering potential savings. Overwatch is currently 40% off through the 28th.

Thanks for the details. For fast-paced action games, I love FPS titles. I also like racing and open-world experiences. Mostly play online, though I’ll have fun in single-player games without multiplayer like Skyrim. I haven’t really explored indie games much, but maybe you can persuade me to try one. I appreciate stories that offer engaging activities beyond the plot.

For a robust open-world RPG experience, Witcher 3 stands out as the top choice. Witcher 2 is an option, though not essential for enjoying Witcher 3. The Complete (GOTY) Edition is strongly suggested—it contains Hearts of Stone, Blood and Wine, all the periodic free DLCs, and the most recent updates. Avoid overloading mods until you finish the game and expansions; a few stand out as worthwhile additions. It’s likely the Complete Edition will be available on sale, so timing could be advantageous. I tried it twice and found it to be decent, but its performance was disappointing, so I’d wait for a better deal.

Create an account on Steam, Origin, Uplay, GOG, and Humble Bundle. Uplay is offering a free Blood Dragon for the month. Origin usually releases a mediocre game each month too. Humble Bundle often has many discounts, especially for indie titles but still worth checking out. Gog tends to have some solid sales as well. Steam consistently has big promotions, though not always immediately for new releases. I avoid resellers because keys can sometimes be unreliable. I've had issues with G2A before. I haven't tried kinguin yet, but others say it's better. GreenMan Gaming appears to be a more trustworthy reseller compared to G2A.
