It appears there are no issues to resolve. The dimmed setting likely hides folders, but you can enable showing hidden files and folders in File Explorer.

It's a concealed directory, not visible until you switch to the view menu and adjust it

When working with Windows installs, ensure you remove any partially hidden folders. These are concealed by default and become visible only after manual activation.

It’s more probable you used a tutorial to configure something. A clear illustration of a hidden directory is the AppData, which holds many settings and configuration files.
