Hi everyone. I'm facing a problem with my old Sun Ultra 20 and want to keep it running. I'm trying to locate the SATA hard drives under Oracle Linux, but Windows and Solaris are working fine. I've heard about enabling AHCI mode, though I don't see any reference to it in my BIOS. It's unclear if that's relevant. Anyone have suggestions on what else I could try?

Have you explored different Linux distros? Regarding AHCI mode, I’m unsure about the exact details of your system, but it’s likely adjustable through your storage controller configuration. If you use a hardware RAID card, configuring it might not be feasible.
