Are you looking for ways to optimize your Windows 10 setup for peak performance on your Plex server? You might consider switching to Ubuntu or Mint for better efficiency. Alternatively, moving to a Poweredge R610 with VMware and a Linux distribution could offer more control and speed. Each option has its pros—evaluate what fits your needs best.

It's not too busy to do much. Windows isn't overly taxing. Linux tends to run a bit quicker, thanks to less unnecessary code and a snappier kernel. A minimal setup should work well with Plex.
