You recently purchased GTA V and adjusted the settings. It seems the reported VRAM usage of 2.8GB in the menu doesn't match the actual 3.2GB shown afterburner, which might be affecting game performance. Your system is using a 4690k with 4.5GHz. Someone with similar components could offer guidance on optimal video settings. Thanks!

The final 500MB remains functional too. It may run a bit more slowly, but it's still quicker than relying on the system's memory.

I understand the goal is to push the CPU until your memory sticks are swapped in, allowing the system RAM to handle the workload instead of VRAM. Kappa

The problem isn't about the RAM speed; it's because you're connecting to it via the PCI Express bus.

It runs at a pace that prevents practical use. What occurs when the size goes past 3.5GB?

It looks like you're facing performance issues as the core reaches its limit, causing delays.
