Optimized Browser for Slower Computers
I need a simple, fast browser for your Dell Precision M60 running Windows XP. It should handle word processing and old games well, like Doom or Diablo 2, but Chrome doesn’t work as expected. I’m looking for something lightweight besides Midori since that didn’t work before.
The browser isn't the only factor—websites also accumulate data and become more resource-heavy, which can strain system performance.
Firefox, Waterfox, or Palemoon are great options. Even better are those browsers running on a Linux system, especially lighter ones, though any of these should work on your older XP setup.
