Hey there, just checked in after a while. I set up a new Ryzen 5 3600 system and am having trouble getting the RAM to run at its rated speeds. I can use the XMP profile, but I keep getting a BSOD right away. Should I manually adjust the clock speeds or something? My RAM specs are just speed and capacity—just give me some help!

Refresh your profile or driver settings for the chipset and see if it resolves the issue. Test one change at a time to determine what works best.

Check that the BIOS updates DRAM voltage to its rated value after XMP application. Also, confirm you followed the manual during RAM installation to ensure proper slot placement.

It seems like you're asking if progress was made despite challenges. Would you like to discuss what happened or how we can move forward?

The voltage adjusts to 1.35, matching the rated level. I’m hoping I could have had the Ryzen optimized kit for a little more money, haha.

Adjust your voltage to 1.1. If that doesn’t resolve the issue, I have no idea what’s going on.

Uses memory built for Z170 and Z270 boards. @TofuHaroto offers a memory trainer at a lower frequency. Begin with 2933mhz.
