A custom version exists for these Dell models, but you'll need to locate it online—possibly through a configuration file bypass or similar method.

I'm curious if turning off the overclocking lock could help break the 103 bclk cap, or if a specific microcode—like the 6f2 found on x99 boards—must be removed to unlock turbo mode. Just a question!

The overclocking lock on the 10510U is about voltage control. I’m unsure if it’s feasible to adjust the BCLK for a low-power Intel processor from this unit.

I have the same CPU and I was curious about improving performance with my GeForce MX250 GPU. I modified my laptop's exhaust fan to run at full power constantly, which caused the CPU speed to throttle to 0.39 GHz. After adjusting the BIOS setting PROCHOT, my base speed is now 1.8 GHz and it reaches up to 4.9 GHz during turbo. I play Valorant with Turbo turned off for better performance. Are there other methods to enhance performance using FIVR?

The FIVR screenshot indicates that CPU voltage control is disabled by the BIOS, which is confirmed by the lock status. With a locked setting, options are limited. On several Dell laptops, you can adjust two UEFI settings to restore control over CPU voltage. It’s unclear what changes apply to your specific model. For more details, see the article on undervolting Dell laptops.

Instead of disabling turbo, focus on modifying the Speed Shift Max in the TPL window and ensure Speed Shift is enabled. This provides full control over maximum CPU speed, eliminating the trade-off between turbo and no boost. Also, verify the MMIO Lock option within the TPL settings.

Improving cooling could enhance performance, though laptop heatsinks for low-power U series CPUs often fall short. Upgrading to liquid metal thermal paste is an option but may not suit everyone.
