It's not necessary unless you're using software that relies on avx. Mostly it's applied in rendering and tools like Adobe Premiere. Don't stress about it if you just play or stream.

Began at 1.350 V with temperatures reaching 86°C during stress. Voltage can be lowered since conditions are stable. Likely to test 1.250 next.

86°C is perfectly acceptable during stressing. This is normal behavior. Intel stops at 100°C, giving you plenty of margin. Remember, a stresstest represents the extreme and isn't typical for regular use. 1.25v is significantly too low; it won’t produce strong results.

Consider your current performance and comfort level. If you're consistently near your peak, staying there might be best. Otherwise, experimenting with a lower setting could help you find your ideal range.

Your choice by 71°C during a stresstest is way to low oc in my opinon. There is quite a bit more room. You should however only oc as much as you feel comfortable.

You should adjust it to zero. It'll be tougher to reach 5GHz or similar, but it's preferable to avoid downclocking during AVX2 operations. If you're optimizing, make sure it's done correctly.

Remember, just passing a stress test for a short time doesn't guarantee reliability. I've noticed it often stops working after 24 hours. For reference, my i7 7700k shares the same design and operates at 1.37v.

I'll remember this. I can raise the speed to 1.3 and beyond if needed. For now, I'm satisfied with 5 GHz at 1.250V! Your assistance means a lot. Thank you!

Keep the AVX offset at zero. Many programs today use AVX instructions, so leaving it zero won’t fully capture the performance gains from your overclock and might even hurt stability. I don’t know what stress tests you run, so I’ll assume Prime95. If you’re doing P95 Small FFT and you’re not hitting thermal limits, that’s fine. But if you experience throttling (around 100°C by default), it’s a failure because it can also impact stability. You might begin with a 1.3V setting on the Vcore if you aim for 5GHz. The exact voltage needed will vary based on your CPU model, as overclocking behavior differs. For a balanced approach, opt for the middle setting on LLC (Medium is MSI’s recommendation in BIOS) and avoid Extreme modes. For regular daily overclocking, keep Vcore below 1.4V and VCCIO/VCCSA below 1.3V—especially for memory overclocks. If you need a detailed guide, check out the video mentioned (it applies broadly to similar boards) or the shorter tutorial from der8auer, which covers Coffee Lake and Comet Lake setups.
