Hello everyone! Welcome to the new year! Your recent question might remind you of something I shared earlier about entering dev mode in Chromium OS/Cloudready. Here’s what I’m considering: A) Chromium doesn’t really offer a proper dev environment—just a terminal in the browser, though ChromeOS does have one. B) Many users are more familiar with ChromeOS than ChromiumOS, so I’ll keep going with that angle. My goal is to switch to recovery mode for ChromeOS, which would let me enable dev tools and run Linux applications. The challenge is accessing it: I need to press Esc+Refresh (F4), then the power button. Since I installed ChromeOS on an older laptop via Brunch, I have a physical power button but not one on the keyboard. Would it be possible to either: 1) redefine the shortcut for recovery mode, 2) switch the power button from a physical switch to a keypress, or 3) activate dev mode another way—perhaps using the command line? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
