I checked the list of network adapters and didn't find any details about connection speed or the physical interface.

Check the network settings by navigating to the control panel, selecting the Wi-Fi card, and then accessing its properties.

Speed reads 234.0 mbs, then fluctuates to 175.5 mbs before returning. 4 out of 5 bars indicate strength, while signal strength is consistently at 5/5 bars.

It seems there might be some interference or other problems affecting performance. You should notice significantly higher speeds if you use a cable connection. A mesh Wi-Fi setup could also be a good alternative.

They likely have a strong 5GHz connection, making USB WiFi adapters less effective. Those adapters often don’t reach the full speed of the router and may not support advanced features like MIMO.
