I installed it and started the first training mission without much experience. At the high setting 1920x1200 it was significantly faster than my monitor's refresh rate of 144. I had to keep it windowed to view hardware monitoring. The CPU reported my 8086k usage at about 30%, often reaching over 50% occasionally. It used a lot of RAM. When I switched to 2560x1440 full screen, I couldn't see the monitoring at the same time, but frame rates stayed above 144. My GPU model is 2070.

Interesting. Do you remember the plane model? I’ll check if I can create a perfmon trace tonight in my VR environment. I’m curious whether the problem lies with the VR setup rather than the game itself. Also, was the CPU usage high overall or just on one core? I’ve noticed it shows lower total percentages when a few cores are at full capacity, and nothing else is running. I’ll also look into benchmarking the F-14 Dogfight mission to see if any aircraft dependencies exist.

It was the default setting. I didn't alter it. It reflects the overall usage reported by Windows. I didn't go into more detail beyond that.
