Hello everyone! Here’s a concise version of what you shared:

I’ve been working with an older system that was running well for years until it stopped. Now I have only 4 gig of RAM, which is tough since I’m one of those people who uses a lot of Chrome tabs. After it failed, I bought new DDR3 RAM from Kingston, making sure it matched my motherboard. I thought replacing RAM would be simple, but I still didn’t get a post. I’ve been doing more research now to double-check before buying the next set of sticks.

I’m saving up for a new PC and don’t have much cash right now. I’d love to own some ROG gear, especially the new ROG RIG setups. My current setup is an ASUS Rampage III with an Intel i7 950, running two KVR1333D3N9 RAM sticks. I’m considering upgrading to the G.Skill F3-10666CL9D-8GBXL, but I’m not sure if they’re compatible. I’ve seen a few similar options online, but I want to be careful about returns.

I’m hoping for some advice from people who know my motherboard or memory specs before making another purchase. Thanks!

If anyone reviews this later, I purchased the 2x4G) F3-10666CL9D-8GBXL 1333Mhz RL RipjawsX and confirmed it functions.
