Here’s a breakdown of my setup:

Intel Core i7-9700k
Nvidia RTX 2080
G.Skill 16GB RAM (3200MHz)
Samsung 1TB SSD
Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro WiFi
LG 1080p 60Hz Monitor

I’m puzzled about my consistently low frame rates. In games like Battlefield V, The Witcher 3, and Star Wars Battlefront II, I'm averaging around 40-50 frames per second. This issue persists across different titles. What could be causing this?

Ensure your motherboard has the newest firmware update. Afterward, remove your existing graphics card software, obtain the most recent files from Nvidia’s assistance website, and re-install them using the updated version. You neglected to state the manufacturer and product name of your power supply unit.

My computer has an EVGA 850-watt power supply unit. Yes, I verified that I’m not running the most recent BIOS version, however, Windows is displaying an error message when I attempt to update it, stating that it cannot execute the application.

I'm not isolated; I've established a monitoring system and am encountering reduced frame rates across numerous games. I’ll revise this entry to include a breakdown of my hardware details and outline any successful remedies I discover, potentially assisting other users.
