Optimal PC setup for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
Optimal PC setup for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
Hello, is this a suitable gaming computer? I anticipate potentially upgrading to an improved display with a higher refresh rate in the future, but for now, it’s adequate. I also plan to enhance the storage capacity at a later date as it is currently limited. If you believe I should opt for Windows 7 instead of Windows 10, please advise me, as I’m unfamiliar with the differences in gaming performance. While I may explore other games on this system, it will primarily be used for this purpose.

I intend to use this computer solely for gaming and browsing the web, primarily through platforms like YouTube; therefore, I do not require advanced features. My budget is $600 and I want that amount to encompass the cost of the monitor. Could you please suggest a strong PC configuration based on this budget? I only require the core computer and monitor components—I already possess peripherals such as a mouse, keyboard, headset, etc.
Thank you.
Edit: Furthermore, if you recommend a change to the processor (i3), please let me know. Also, could you suggest some excellent 60Hz – 120Hz monitors?
This system has been created for you utilizing only a central processing unit due to its included graphics capabilities, which will allow for smooth gameplay of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive at 1080p resolution.

I have constructed this system without a GPU utilizing the CPU’s integrated graphics, which will allow for smooth gameplay of CS:GO at 1080p. The components include an AMD Ryzen 3 2200G processor - https://www.amazon.com/AMD-Ryzen-Process...079D3DBNM/, an ASRock B450M motherboard - https://www.outletpc.com/cy9484.html?utm...c1k2_i6mld, 8GB of HyperX Fury Black DDR4 CL16 memory - https://www.amazon.com/Kingston-Technolo...26C15FBK2/, a Crucial MX500 500GB SSD - https://www.amazon.com/Crucial-MX500-500...0784SLQM6/, a Thermaltake Versa H22 case - https://www.amazon.com/Thermaltake-Versa...00M1NN-00/, and an EVGA 450 BT power supply - https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-Bronze-Warra...T-0450-K1/. The total cost for this system is $343. For Windows, consider purchasing a $5 key from eBay instead of paying $100. Regarding a monitor, the Acer ED242QR is recommended - https://www.amazon.com/Acer-ED242QR-Abid...07598HLB5/, costing $188, offering a 23.6” display with 1920x1080 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate with FREESYNC technology.
