For your Ryzen 7 2700X, consider tweaking BIOS settings to optimize performance. A stable 4.2 GHz with 1.35–1.4 volts is a solid starting point. Adjust based on your workload and monitor temperatures closely.

You adjust mine manually and set it to 1.410v under full load.

Issues have arisen regarding performance loss from Ryzen's auto-boost settings. All reliable references suggest using 1.35 volts, with 1.4 being acceptable, while anything above 1.4 isn't advised for regular operation.

These are 7nm Ryzen 3000 CPUs, unrelated to the 12nm Zen+ processors.
