Several people share the same device. Most applications aren’t yours; I need to restore it to its original state before I began. For browsers, I manage it by saving the session. Just be mindful of extra windows opening, as they can disrupt everything. Switching to a separate user account helps minimize confusion for others and eases locating items in a cluttered environment. Still, 16GB is right at the threshold where many modern games require all features closed. I still think serious gamers should aim for at least 32GB.

Man, I'm not here to push you to alter your habits or anything. If that's what you're after, fine. Your finances, your choices, your comfort. But if you're saying your 16gb is getting full quickly, then even 32gb might not be enough. In reality, it depends on how you actually use your device—all those tabs and software launching. That can turn into confusing data. Whether you like it or not, most people shut the program once they're done, especially when using an old HDD. I remember running Elden Ring at high settings with 12 YouTube tabs open in Firefox, plus some other apps like Stealseries, Icue, GSKill, etc. Not even close to 16gb of RAM. I'd also need to show the Plague Tale requirements if I hadn't removed it, but honestly, it didn't hit that limit.

32GB should work well for most users even before upgrading. I only experienced problems a few times a month. I didn’t claim every game needs more than 16GB. It’s not just about usage, like the small delays when accessing the drive.
